Simulations & Games

Traditional training programs focus on classes, seminars and articles but there is a trend towards more immersive learning experiences which combine simulations/practice and real-time feedback through advanced digital platforms. As Brett Steenbarger author of "Enhancing Trader Performance" states in his book: "There will be the integration of education and training through realistic simulation, detailed performance metric to track performance and archives of past market data to replay-and re-trade markets for concentrated practice."

RPanda training solutions has developed a number of proprietary commodity trading simulation programs that focused on training and assessing key trading/commercial skills and competencies. Our trading simulation software give students and participants a hands-on experience in commercial and trading decision making and can be deployed as a standalone product or combined with other training modules delivered by RPanda or as part of training package to instructors.

Multi-day Trader Game

This game uses real market data across number of commodities in either 4 week or 4 month intervals. This game allows participants to apply their skills to analyze, execute and risk manage commodity financial positions. The multi-day trader game is best combined with live or recorded lectures. There are instructor lead weekly feedback and discussion sessions very similar to a real commodity trading group

Live Trader Game

The Live Trader Game is delivered either as a single game (trader assessment tool), or as multi-session game focused on developing skills in key aspects of physical commodity trading. The Live Trading Game puts the participants in the seat of a physical commodity trader where they can buy storage, transport, or charter a ship to capture market arbitrage across number of commodities

Strategy Games

Our Strategy Games allow companies to evaluate their strategic asset mix as well as train decision makers on advanced analytics, negotiation, and asset valuation skills and apply them to real world situations.
